Paragliding:
a visual journey
Follow along with us as adventurers take to the skies for the first time on a tandem, learn valuable paragliding skills or even catch a glimpse of pilots just goofing around!
Sometimes as an instructor you do a lot more driving than flying. But when the view out your window is this beautiful, sometimes that's almost as nice. Almost.
Paul had many personal bests on his day of coaching here, including great thermalling flights off sites on opposite sides of the valley, and got to catch some stunning views while hard at work.
Another view of flying in Keremeos, BC. Trees near launch then the terrain gets bare until you reach the valley floor, where the land is covered in orchards and vineyards.
Claudia ready to launch amid the greens and reds of the hillside. Only ladies on this first flight of the day - Kirstie & I joined her while the boys drove down (one driver, one pilot who left their helmet at the bottom…oops).
Birthday girl Magali gets a little help from Andrew & I setting up the speed bar on her new Skywalk Chili 3. Don't forget the harness adjustments to make her whole kit just right, and maybe a laugh or two as we figure it all out.
